Here's another girl done with the Golden's Open Acrylics. I did these on canvas board. I had a big piece that I knew I would never use so I cut it into smaller pieces to use for these little heads.
Thanks Steve. They are formulated to dry slowly (the blob of paint on your palette would stay wet all day) and have that creamy slightly sticky quality that oils have. They don't really have much in common with acrylics as far as handling goes, they handle just like oils but they dry to the touch within a several hours. All of my acrylic painting techniques are based on working on top of dry paint, so these take a whole 'nother approach.

Great as usual. How do "open" acrylics differ from regular acrylics?
